ISMAP

The Information System Security Management and Assessment Program (ISMAP) is a Japanese public sector evaluation scheme which provides Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) a common set of security measures to comply with in order to be able to participate in the Japanese government’s cloud service procurement program. ISMAP requires CSPs to undergo a stringent third party audit with an ISMAP-approved assessor.
